Certificate in Anglican Studies (1 year)

• Designed for those who have had seminary in another institution that is not Anglican and need to know the distinctives of Anglicanism

Master of Arts in Religion - M.A.R. (2 years)
Formerly Theological Studies Program

• Designed mainly for those who want to enter the permanent diaconate, or who just want to better prepare themselves for service in their parishes

• No Greek or Hebrew required, though Greek is encouraged

Master of Divinity (3 years) - M.Div.
Formerly Sacred Ministry Program

• Three-year ministerial training program

• The main degree offered by most seminaries

• Greek and Hebrew required

• Intended for those who will seek ordination to the ministry

Master of Theology (1 year) - Th.M.
Formerly Sacred Theology Program

• One-year intensive study program (This is primarily for those who are not CTH graduates or who have not been CTH students)

• For CTH graduates with an M.Div. who would like to do a one-year thesis option

• For those who have an M.Div. from some other institution and want to do a one-year intensive Anglican study with CTH

• The equivalent of the four-year Th.M. degree offered by some seminaries
